My main problem with it was that Vision stole a lot of lines from the Bible and that's not cool. Doesn't matter what the religion is, if you're stealing stuff from it deliberately changing who says it, it's rude and inconsiderate and very not cool The original was the best pure comic book movie in history, so this had a lot to live up to. Spader lends his voice to an excellent villain, but additions like Olson and Bettany don't fully click with the group. The Hulk/Widow love story feels like a forced addition that ultimately doesn't add much. Though a fun film, it's easily forgettable in the grand scheme.

Joss Whedon continues to provide an action packed feature with better technical set ups and displays, even if it doesn't exceed the first with its overwhelming use of unnecessary romantic scenes and over used CGI. Too much of the same. Undoubtedly, still, a fun movie to watch, but it gets pretty tired by the end. If the Avengers are to continue, then these films need to evolve or they will risk going the way of recent DC flicks-all style and CGI with zero substance.
